Outer Reef Coasteering In Pembrokeshire. All of our Coasteering sessions are delivered by highly trained and qualified staff that each hold valid certificates for the activities that they instruct. Throughout the year we hold regular in-house training sessions to help keep us all up to date with the recognised best practice.

Accredited by AALA (the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority)  Our activity of coasteering which focusses on setting industry standards, environment sustainability and acts as a medium for Coasteering providers to unite, share best practises and grow the activity of coasteering collectively.

QUALIFIED BEACH LIFEGUARDS

All of our Coasteering guides hold a Beach Lifeguard Certificate. This professional qualification demonstrates a proficiency in fitness, surf lifesaving and first aid abilities.

The beach lifeguard qualification is refreshed every two years keeping candidates up to date, in line with best practises and helps surf coach or Coasteer guide to deliver your activity in a safe, educated and professional manner.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE

We constantly monitor the tides and weather so our Coasteering sessions are adapted to the conditions on the day of your activity and the ability of your group. This sometimes means not all elements of a Coasteer will not be possible or we may have to change the route to ensure the highest safety.

COASTEERING RATIOS

Depending on sea conditions on the day and size of the group will dictate how many guides will be assigned to your session. Typically we keep our groups small where we can as this undoubtedly provides a better experience for both you the customer and the guides delivering the session.
