Pembrokeshire Surf Ryders (PSR) set up in memory of a true legend surfer Paul 'Spyder' Ryder Who sponsored local surfers from Pemb’s & supported the development of Welsh Surfing. The club did, unfortunately, go through some hard times with lots of people trying to keep it running (they all deserve a big thank you Mark Rice being one of them) The bank account was closed early last year.

We would now like to inform all of our current members & to let previous & new members know that the club is called Pembrokeshire Surf, lifesaving & Sup Club & we have continued to use the PSR name in respect & in memory of a true legend! We are currently affiliated to the WSF (Welsh Surfing Federation) & the SLSGB (Surf Life Saving) We Have a good number of members & are offering our members & Pembrokeshire secondary schools free first aid courses which were put together by Pembrokeshire sports development department.
The whole idea behind our club is to:

• GET ACTIVE
• UNDERSTANDING OUR ENVIRONMENT
• ENJOY PEMBROKESHIRE
• DEVELOP GRASSROOTS
• TO LEARN HOW TO HELP EACH OTHER

We are offering our members massive discounts on SLSGB lifesaving courses (due to development funding) to get the local surfers working on our beaches.

We are also offering free paddle boarding lessons & trips, Sunday Groms Academy & we are looking at running a Pembrokeshire surf contest in September when the waves start to pump again.

We are working together with local company’s & organisation like The National Trust & Outer Reef, that allow the club to use the beaches & surf, Sup & lifesaving equipment until our club equipment arrives. We are all really looking forward to a great year of water & beach time. We also have some exciting news coming in March!
