The Pembrokeshire Shoreline Project
Program Launch Date: 25th of March 2025
Thanks to the incredible support of our local community, Outer Reef is launching the Shoreline Project, providing over 200 Pembrokeshire locals with FREE surfing lessons, Coasteering adventures, Kayaking tours, paddle boarding sessions and beach clean ups. We’re committed to making the ocean more accessible while protecting our beautiful coastline. A percentage of our takings now goes directly back into the community, funding programs that help more people connect with the sea. This is more than just adventure it’s about giving back, creating opportunities, and building a stronger Ocean awareness throughout Pembrokeshire. Stay tuned for our April launch if you want to get involved!

Pembrokeshire Shoreline Project
Surfing, Kayaking, Coasteering and Paddle boarding has great physical benefits on your overall health. It is beneficial for the mind regardless of the location. Swimming can help relieve stress as it has a very relaxing effect on the mind.
Recent studies show that being immersed in water boosts the blood flow to the brain. This increases the supply of oxygen, glucose and nutrients, suggesting a positive impact on the mental health.
Moreover, swimming for just half an hour is known for lowering incidences of depression and anxiety, as well as to improve sleep patterns. Swimming helps release endorphins, the feel good hormones that lead to a greater sense of happiness and wellbeing.

These sessions keep the stoke alive, helping more people connect with the ocean, build confidence, and be part of something bigger.
