Whether you're joining our standard kids' lessons (ages 7+) or our popular Family Surf Adventure package, you'll experience the thrill of surfing under the guidance of our expert ISA qualified instructors. Our family friendly sessions accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children (or 1 adult and 3 children), with all premium equipment included - from perfectly sized wetsuits to beginner-friendly surfboards.
Starting from £40 per person for standard lessons, or upgrade to our comprehensive Family Surf Adventure package at £140, which includes a 2 hour lesson, paddle boarding mini session, family photos, and equipment rental discounts. Every session prioritises safety, fun, and personal progress, ensuring your family catches waves and confidence in equal measure.

Before your surf courses, you will be met by your friendly Outer Reef surf coach and meet the rest of your surf group, the exact beach depends on the conditions on the day, so we ask everyone to call the day before, as we decided where the waves are ideal for learning to surf.
ABOUT OUR LESSONS
Surfing Lessons run every day from April till November.
Lesson times are subject to availability, season and weather conditions.
Main Season
You will mostly find us at Freshwater West & Manorbier Beach, Depending on the conditions of the day.
We will pick the best and safest beach for learning and meet you 15 minutes prior to your lesson.
Early & Late Season
You're more likely to find us all over Pembrokeshire as we look for the best waves during the larger swells and stronger winds that come around this time of year.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR SURF LESSON?
Our instructors are all fully qualified ISA Surf & Stand up paddle boarding coaches & SLSGB Beach Lifeguards who will run you through the first stages of learning how to surf in Pembrokeshire. They will introduce you to the equipment, how to surf it and how to catch a wave. Safety is a big factor and you will be shown good awareness of your surroundings, whilst at the same time, we can guarantee you will have a great time at some of the most beautiful beaches in Pembrokeshire.
