A Clear Route Forward For Austrian Candidates

The closure of the Austrian Surfing Association does not mean your coaching pathway has to stop. Outer Reef can support candidates who have already completed training as well as new instructors who want to begin an internationally recognised route.

Our aim is to make the process simple and transparent: establish what you have already completed, identify what is still required, then help you choose the most practical next step.

Gain Real Hands-On Experience With Multiple Instructors

When you train with Outer Reef, your development does not have to stop when the formal course ends. Candidates can gain practical coaching experience by assisting within a working surf-school environment.

Depending on availability and location, this can include helping with surf lessons, families, local clubs, Salty Sisters sessions and other coached programmes. You get exposure to real surfers of different ages and abilities while learning from instructors with different coaching backgrounds.
