Supportive Surf Coaching
Learn the foundations or improve your existing skills with patient coaching matched to your confidence.
A two-night coastal escape filled with supportive surf coaching, paddle boarding, shared adventures and time to reconnect beside the sea.
Friday to Sunday · Beginners welcome · Most guests join solo
This is not a boot camp and you do not need to arrive as a confident surfer.
The Salty Sisters weekend is designed for women who want to try something new, develop their water confidence and spend a refreshing weekend with a welcoming group on the Pembrokeshire coast.
Our qualified team adapts each session to the conditions and the group. Surfing and paddle boarding are at the heart of the weekend, with kayaking or coasteering used where conditions and the selected programme allow.
Every weekend is shaped around the sea, weather and group, allowing us to choose the safest and most enjoyable locations.

Learn the foundations or improve your existing skills with patient coaching matched to your confidence.

Explore sheltered water, hidden coves and beautiful stretches of the Pembrokeshire coastline.

Depending on the programme and conditions, sessions may also include kayaking or coasteering.
Your booking combines accommodation, guided activities and all specialist equipment, so the weekend is easy to organise.
Spaces are intentionally limited to create a friendly atmosphere and allow the team to give everyone meaningful support.
Important: The final activity plan is weather-led. We choose locations and sessions according to swell, wind, tides and group ability so you receive the safest and best experience available.
Selected weekends use beautiful glamping domes with comfortable interiors, private facilities and outdoor spaces where the group can relax after the day’s adventures.
Depending on your chosen date, Outer Reef may also use carefully selected accommodation elsewhere in South Pembrokeshire, including country properties or hotel-style stays near Tenby and Saundersfoot.
Photos show accommodation used on selected retreats. Please check the live booking information for the property included on your chosen date.

Times and activities may move slightly to work with the tide, forecast and location.
Arrive from 4pm, check into your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening meeting the other women in the group.
Meet the instructors for your briefing, followed by morning and afternoon activity sessions. The group meets for dinner locally in the evening.
Check out in the morning, enjoy two further activity sessions and finish at approximately 4pm before travelling home.
Availability changes quickly. Use the booking page for the latest spaces and package details.
You do not need to persuade a friend to come with you. The majority of guests arrive independently, and the shared activities make it easy to get to know everyone naturally.
There is no pressure to perform, compete or already be good at surfing. Come as you are, try something new and enjoy a weekend with women who are doing exactly the same.
Outer Reef has been delivering coastal activities in Pembrokeshire since 1999.

The team will provide an outline before the retreat and confirm final activity details once the latest weather, swell and tide information is available.
Activities and locations may be adapted to keep the weekend safe and enjoyable. The sea always has the final say, and the team will choose the best suitable option available.
