Off Season is one of our favourite times of year here, most of the operators close down, the crowds thin but the waves can still be epic. This is planned as a transit trip North through Ments and the Telos, however, we’re flexible with destinations.

Arriving in Padang, you’ll be met by our ground-handling staff and brought to Bungus Port where we’ll welcome you aboard Jiwa. After running through a quick induction to the vessel, we’ll look at the swell and weather forecast and discuss the best wave options.

Its an overnight crossing to the Mentawai islands and we’ll aim to be there in the morning to start the first of 10 surfing days. The Mentawais is such a wave dense region that its usually possible to find good quality waves regardless of the conditions and we’ll do our best to get you on the most suitable waves on any given day.

On this trip we’ll also cruise through the Telo islands so there is sure to be plenty of variety and you’ll get to experience to regions in one trip.

On the evening of the last surfing day, we have our final sunset beer, say goodbye to the islands and make our way back to port. The following morning you’ll leave the boat and will be driven to the airport for your return journey home.

The trip will finish in Sibolga, where you’ll fly to Medan or Jakarta for onward connections.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

1. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total cost is required within 7 days of making the booking. The depoit will be accepted as part payment of the total cost.
2. Final Payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
